BURNETT THERAPEUTIC SERVICES INC is a leading provider of mental health and autism services. We are seeking a highly motivated Behavior Technician to join our team in Sonoma County.
About the RoleThis part-time position offers the opportunity to work with children and families, providing direct behavioral support in their homes. As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing individualized behavioral programs, collecting data on client progress, and working closely with families to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver 1:1 behavior programs in clients' homes, providing training and support as needed.
- Engage with children in a fun and energetic way to support learning and development.
- Collect accurate data on client progress, using established methods and tools.
- Collaborate with families to provide a safe and supportive environment, promoting family involvement and empowerment.
- Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training and mentorship to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for working with children and families.
- The ability to work independently and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients, adapting to changing circumstances and needs.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is an asset, but not required.
- RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost of obtaining it.
- CPR & First Aid Certification is required.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Competitive salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
