Job Summary

GAP Solutions, Inc. (GAPSI) is seeking a skilled Payroll Practitioner to support all payroll accounting duties, including maintaining employee/payroll records, auditing timekeeping records to ensure compliance, and processing new hires into the payroll system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new hires in Unanet and maintain employee profiles in Unanet.
  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
  • Provide support to the Payroll Manager with processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls using Paycom for 700+ employees.
  • Support creating PTO/sick payouts for terminated employees.
  • Handle day-to-day employee payroll inquiries from internal and external staff.
  • Support end-of-year processes (W-2's, SCA PTO/sick payouts, etc.).
  • Support with timesheet corrections.
  • Process expense reimbursement through Payroll.
Requirements
  • High School diploma.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of payroll experience, preferably in Unanet and Paycom Payroll.
  • Experience working in a government contracting environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures, particularly as applied to payroll.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detailed-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable.
