About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Specialist to join our team at University of Minnesota Physicians. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering precise and efficient ionizing radiation therapy treatments as determined by the Radiation Oncologist.

Salary Information

Job Description

As a Radiation Therapy Specialist, you will administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing and constructing equipment, educating patients and families, observing and reassuring patients during treatment, and operating specified equipment within the radiation therapy department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an ARRT registration in radiation therapy or be board eligible, BLS certification, excellent patient relations skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
