About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Pathology Physician to provide services to Veterans in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our team, you’ll work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional exceptions for recognized US holidays. Your responsibilities will include providing preventative care, detecting developing health problems, and offering advice to help patients develop healthy habits. You'll also be responsible for abiding by the Facility's Medical Staff By-Laws, rules, and regulations that govern medical staff behavior.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. You should also be Board Certified Pathologist by the American Board of Pathology (abpath.org) and currently certified in BLS, ACLS or equivalency. Additionally, you must possess technical proficiency in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently. Finally, you'll need to maintain continuing education courses required for maintaining certification up to date at all times.
