Position Overview
The Breast Health Navigator Nurse serves as a vital liaison for referring healthcare providers, patients, and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support to access both clinical and community-based care services. This role is essential in coordinating patient appointments across various departments, including laboratories, diagnostic imaging, and specialized medical professionals, to maintain a seamless continuum of care.
Essential Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required. Experience in case management or a related field is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN License in Texas or Compact State is mandatory.
Current CPR certification is required.
Certification as a Breast Care Nurse (CBCN) is preferred.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
