Community Outreach Specialist

About the Job:
Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking a Community Outreach Specialist to join our team. As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for connecting with diverse communities, gathering data, and contributing to groundbreaking research.
The Wisconsin Longitudinal Study (WLS) is one of the most comprehensive social science studies, examining life experiences, health, and well-being across generations.
You will conduct in-home interviews using Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), gather data on life courses, intergenerational relationships, family dynamics, health, and socio-economic factors such as education, work, and retirement.
Requirements:
- High-speed Internet access at home.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to type at least 35 words per minute (WPM).
- Possession of a personal credit card capable of covering up to $500 in reimbursable business expenses.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience conducting interviews or fieldwork.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
