Family Medicine Hospitalist Opportunity in Kodiak, Alaska

Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is seeking a skilled Family Medicine Hospitalist to join their team in Kodiak, Alaska. As a Hospitalist, you will provide coverage for adult medicine, pediatrics, and OB, working closely with local primary care physicians to ensure a smooth transition for patients being discharged from the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient care for adult medicine, pediatrics, and OB patients
  • Collaborate with local primary care physicians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in physician training opportunities at larger facilities to maintain competence in your scope of practice

  • Obstetric fellowship preferred, but all qualified candidates will be considered

  • 12 hours on-site, 12 hours on-call
