Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Kahala Hotel and Resort. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical structure of our hotel, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general skilled labor in maintenance, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to identify and repair any issues or defects.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance projects, including cleaning guest room fan coils, replacing air filters, and servicing HVAC systems.
  • Operate specialized equipment, such as electric sewer snakes, electric welding, and acetylene gas welding/cutting torches.
  • Perform shop bench work orders, repair furniture, and maintain the cleanliness of the shop area and all tools.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment preferred.
  • At least three years of previous maintenance experience.
  • Certification of tuberculosis clearance required.
  • CPR and Standard First Aid Certification preferred.
