Key Responsibilities

As an Infection Control Specialist, you will:

  • Facilitate new employee orientation by delivering training on infection prevention and control.
  • Design and implement educational programs tailored to address specific infection control needs identified through quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, execute, monitor, and uphold the IPCP to ensure optimal patient care concerning the investigation, management, and prevention of infections and communicable diseases.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure.
  • Completion of specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of employment.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
  • Flexibility to accommodate meetings with staff on various shifts.

  • Pay Range: $90,000 - $95,000 annually
