About the Position

TravelNurseSource is partnering with Next Move Healthcare to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN for a travel nursing assignment.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery RN to join our team for a travel nursing assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
