As a Lead Teacher at Discovery Point - Hamilton Mill, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our young students. Your expertise and passion for early childhood education will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement weekly lesson plans that align with our approved curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for our students.
• Classroom Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to other staff members in the classroom, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Schedule Management: Oversee the organization and adherence to a daily schedule, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the classroom.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain thorough knowledge of State and Discovery Point policies and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence in all aspects of classroom management.
• Communication: Engage in friendly, professional communication with parents, staff, and management, fostering positive relationships and a sense of community.
• Classroom Environment: Maintain a welcoming, upbeat, and positive atmosphere in the classroom, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being among students and staff.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the classroom at all times, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety protocols.

• Education and Experience: Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience, ensuring a strong foundation in early childhood education and curriculum development.
• Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum, as well as child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Training and Certifications: Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other required training, ensuring a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Certifications and Qualifications: Hold a CDA/degree in ECE, and meet state background check requirements.

• GA Teaching Requirements: Familiarity with Georgia's teaching requirements and regulations.
• FL Teaching Requirements: Knowledge of Florida's teaching requirements and regulations.
• TN Teaching Requirements: Understanding of Tennessee's teaching requirements and regulations.
