About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for driving member service in your area by delivering high-quality bakery products that meet our members' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations. Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs. Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
  • Be a Technologist: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
  • Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards. Eliminate waste and prepare for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in Bakery and modeling high-quality service and products. Interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans.
