New York Adult Psychiatry Opportunity

Seeking a part-time adult psychiatrist for an outpatient role at our community mental health center. This position offers excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits.
About the FacilityOur facility is conveniently located near Buffalo, New York, providing easy access to great restaurants and the heart of the city.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, supervising and guiding clinical staff, including Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, Case Managers, RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants. They will also assess patients' psycho-social health status through medical history, physical examinations, and laboratory tests.
A key responsibility will be triaging, diagnosing, and treating illness and behavioral health conditions within the specialty area of practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, consulting with Primary Care Providers, Dental Providers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement optimal care plans.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual who can perform therapeutic and corrective measures, prescribe medication, and provide preventive health maintenance and education. Teaching and counseling patients, families, and groups are essential aspects of this role.
