Position Overview:
As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in our dynamic and high-volume Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology department. We are seeking skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and address the emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of patients.
  • Prepare examination rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures, including those with IVs, oxygen, and other medical devices.
  • Execute complex imaging procedures and modify techniques as required.
  • Administer contrast agents and medications in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Process and enhance images, ensuring quality and making adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Applied Science or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with two years of experience in invasive cardiology may be considered.
  • Preferred experience includes one year in vascular or cardiac angiography.
  • ARRT certification is required upon hire, with GMRT preferred if ARRT only.
  • RCIS certification is mandatory upon hire, with the ability to obtain within six months if graduated from an accredited program.
  • BCLS certification is required prior to independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly.
