Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Franciscan Health. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage services to patients with various medical conditions and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' soft tissue condition, joint quality, and function, muscle strength, and range of motion to develop a treatment plan.
  • Communicate with patients about their medical histories, problems, and pain, and answer patient questions and concerns.
  • Perform therapeutic massage in various modalities to provide treatment for medical conditions and injuries.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain work area and disinfect after treatment.
  • Accurately document and maintain client records and necessary department paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year Massage Experience Required
  • Massage Therapist (MSGTHER) Certification
  • First Aid (AID) Certification
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
  • Massage Therapy License/Certification from recognized school (AMTA, OBTA, ABMP)
Work Environment

This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis. You will be required to travel occasionally, but this is minimal.
