HVAC Service Technician

We are a 3rd generation family-owned HVAC company operating since 1943 in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. As a stable and career-growth-oriented company, we offer flexibility and opportunities for advancement.

Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with 24-hour emergency service available. We provide competitive pay, benefits, high job diversity, and year-round work. Responsibilities:

  • Run diagnostic, maintenance, and accessory installation service calls for residential and light commercial customers during regular business hours
  • Be available for on-call emergency after-hour service rotations
  • Maintain stock inventory and materials
  • Process payments toward invoices in QuickBooks
  • Answer phone calls to schedule appointments or take messages using call forwarding services
  • Handle over-the-counter/walk-in sales and payments
  • Perform light cleaning tasks
  • Receive truck shipments
  • Operate company vehicles and heavy machinery safely and responsibly

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate understanding of diagnostics in forced air, boilers, and mini-split systems
  • Show independent thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit general handyman skills
  • Be comfortable working at heights and handling rooftop systems
  • Be able to pull a trailer
  • Tools can be provided if needed

The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
