Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineering Manager to join our Apple Service Engineering team. As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for establishing SRE practices for a private cloud service to accelerate our ability to reliably and consistently deliver thousands of applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team responsible for providing the platform for mission-critical cloud systems to maintain constant uptime, scale seamlessly, and allow for new applications and services to flourish.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to design and implement solutions that improve stability, security, and scalability.
  • Support operations and troubleshoot issues across the entire software stack.
  • Develop and maintain a strong philosophy of continuous improvement and encourage a culture of visibility and transparency across teams.
Requirements
  • Technical (Engineering or Computer Science) BS/MS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing enterprise services in a large-scale nix environment.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot issues across the entire software stack.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing, scaling, and troubleshooting Java and GoLang applications.
  • CNCF Kubernetes Administration certification.
