Job Summary

PsiQuantum is a leading innovator in quantum computing, pushing the boundaries of photonic technology to develop the world's first fault-tolerant quantum computer. We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled research engineer/physicist to join our team and contribute to the design and execution of experiments on complex quantum systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute tests to validate the performance of optical quantum computer systems
  • Collaborate with system design and PIC teams to define and document validation objectives
  • Develop clear and quantitative metrics for quantum performance
  • Analyze and deliver experimental data to inform engineering models for system performance
  • Debug complex systems and work with other engineering teams to resolve design or manufacturing issues
Requirements
  • M.S. level (Ph.D. preferred) or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, experimental Physics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex experiments or engineering tests in a cross-functional environment
  • Broad technical knowledge with ability to dive deep into required technical areas of our systems
  • Software development for instrumentation, controls, and test equipment (Python preferred)
