Job Overview

Americold Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Dock Clerk Lead. This role is critical to the success of our organization, as it involves leading a team of dock clerks in performing various tasks related to shipping and receiving.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for coordinating with customers, warehouse teams, and supervisors to ensure that all shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Lead dock team in training and maintaining office procedures.
  • Review orders and records to ensure accuracy and account for all loads.
  • Track missing or delayed shipments and authorize products for shipment and receipt.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus three years' office experience or equivalent training and experience. Warehouse or transportation experience is a plus. They should be able to work in a detail-driven, high-paced environment and maintain a flexible work schedule.
