Opus Services is on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Engineer to spearhead custom product development initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of designing bespoke electrical hardware tailored for a range of industrial and power generation settings, encompassing both low and high voltage systems. The projects you will engage in are varied and stimulating, covering everything from switchboards to circuit breakers.

As the Project Lead, your collaboration will extend to customers, Mechanical Leads, drafters, designers, and software engineers to ensure projects are completed successfully. While advanced software skills are not a prerequisite, having a background in industrial controls programming will be advantageous.

The compensation for this role is competitive, with a target salary in the $100-120K range, offering some flexibility for candidates with substantial experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Technology field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Over 5 years of experience in electrical product development and design
  • Capability to design electrical hardware components and create wiring diagrams
  • Familiarity with relevant 2D or 3D CAD software
  • Excellent communication abilities
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with software related to industrial controls programming
