Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Web Second Press Operators to become integral members of the Mittera Group, where innovation is encouraged and career advancement is supported. In this role, you will assist in the setup and operation of printing presses, collaborating closely with the Press Operator and other team members to ensure that each project meets customer specifications while adhering to both internal and external deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain web printing presses along with all related auxiliary equipment.
  • Interpret color bars, star targets, side guide marks, and slur indicators to ensure optimal print quality.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards while actively seeking improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Program accurate color standards into the Computerized Press Control (CPC) to facilitate necessary color adjustments.
  • Achieve color approval that aligns with proofs provided.
  • Encourage teamwork among crew members and across shifts.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned machinery.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and nurture growth within the team.
  • In-depth knowledge of press setup and maintenance protocols.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to quality and safety.
  • The ideal candidate must be capable of fulfilling all physical job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
