The Travel Nurse RN plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. This position involves working in diverse environments, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive nursing support tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities- Licensing and Certification: Maintain a valid nursing license in the State of Washington, along with current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Patient Care: Responsible for executing assigned duties and prescribed treatments, ensuring that all patient care requirements are met effectively.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to patients, while also supporting the hospital's mission and strategic goals.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning to uphold skill levels, licenses, and certifications, and adhere to all compliance and HIPAA regulations.
- Clinical Competence: Demonstrate proficiency in various nursing procedures, including medication administration, EKGs, and respiratory therapy treatments.
- Patient Interaction: Recognize and address the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their families, utilizing appropriate resources for support.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Exhibit competency in emergency situations, following established guidelines for patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School Program.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating respect and professionalism towards patients and colleagues.
- Accountability for all nursing care delivered or delegated.
