Customer Service Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Lead to join our team at the University of Arizona. As a key member of our Meal Plan Office, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information and support to customers regarding Meal Plans, addressing questions or concerns.
- Process in-person transactions and make plan changes as needed.
- Ensure a top-notch customer experience by training student staff and maintaining adherence to customer service standards.
- Identify and resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
- Serve as the primary resource for Meal Plans, understanding the mechanics of each plan and the Arizona Student Unions dining options.
- Schedule, plan, and deliver presentations to the campus community, prospective students, and parents about Meal Plans.
- Represent the Meal Plan Office at tabling events, new student orientations, move-in, and other student-related events.
- Monitor office supply levels and promotional materials, placing orders as needed.
- Complete end-of-day reconciliation of in-person transactions and manage daily banking procedures.
- Assist with reconciling online transactions to ensure accurate billing and plan application.
- Maintain the student worker schedule to ensure appropriate coverage for the Meal Plan Office and events.
- Train student workers on customer service and office procedures.
- Generate reports, including unused balance reports, daily sales, and plan changes.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends during busy seasons.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Skill in public speaking.
- Advanced knowledge in computer programs including Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and other spreadsheet programs.
