Electrophysiology Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA.

Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology Technician will perform procedures on patients, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture, to diagnose and treat heart arrhythmias while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrophysiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture
  • Utilize specialized equipment under the direction of a qualified physician
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years experience in a cardiovascular laboratory
  • Electrophysiology technologist experience
