Job Summary:The Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role requires strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiac, respiratory, and neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication regimens.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification on hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Previous Critical Care experience preferred.
- Completion of Critical Care Course within 6 months of hire and maintain current.
- Rhythms Interpretation Class within 3 months of hire and maintain current.
- Training on CPI within 12 months of hire and maintain current.
