Job Summary

As a Patient Registration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth hospital admissions, collecting accurate patient information, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.


About the Role

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, assisting patients complete their registration while navigating multiple screens and programs to collect detailed information. Your ability to multitask, think critically, and work effectively under pressure will be essential in this role.


Responsibilities
  • Collecting and verifying patient demographic information
  • Ensuring accurate and timely registration of patients
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to address any issues or concerns

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
