Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellowship

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication capabilities.
  • Collaborate with seasoned SLPs to create and execute tailored treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
  • Deliver speech-language therapy services targeting areas such as articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication.
  • Engage with educators, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to incorporate therapy strategies within educational settings.
  • Track student progress, document therapy sessions, and adjust intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in screenings and referrals to identify students who may require speech and language services.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Completion of all academic coursework and clinical practicum requirements.
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
