Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and provide education to patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Peri-anesthesia experience preferred.
- Peri-anesthesia PACU: 1 to 3 years of critical care experience and/or 1 to 3 years of peri-anesthesia experience.
- Open Heart Surgery: Previous surgery experience.
- Peri-anesthesia Day Surgery: Peri-anesthesia experience.
- Peri-anesthesia ASC Pre-Post: Peri-anesthesia nursing.
