Job Summary

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team at the New York Harbor Healthcare System. As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing diagnoses to patients. This is a full-time position that requires onsite work and may involve travel between Manhattan and Brooklyn VA Campuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret general radiology examinations, including plain film, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic fluoroscopic studies
  • Rotate between campuses to provide coverage
  • Participate in the development of new protocols and imaging techniques
  • Communicate critical findings to clinical providers
  • Participate in quality management activities, including film quality review and peer review
  • Teach students and residents
  • Provide clinical oversight of medication administration
  • Utilize abnormal diagnostic codes appropriately

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a medical degree and be licensed to practice medicine in any US State. You must also have experience in radiology and be able to interpret medical images.
