Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct and indirect therapy services to improve students' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs, goals, and objectives.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions, to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure consistency in communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress, including progress reports and IEP updates.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Michigan SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
