We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, supervising, teaching, and delegating to other personnel as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other personnel, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a multistate compact status.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, with arrhythmia exam and NIHSS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a stressful environment.
