Position Overview:
The role of the Pharmacist encompasses a range of responsibilities, including the accurate dispensing of medications and providing consultations to patients. This position acts as a medical authority, brand representative, patient supporter, and mentor to staff. The Pharmacist may also assume the role of Manager on Duty when required in the absence of senior management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify exceptional service, commitment, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
- Offer patient consultations as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and store operations.
- Safeguard all confidential information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Implement and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities, including overseeing store operations and staff management.
- Promote a workplace culture that aligns with Holistic Industries' vision of being the premier destination for work, shopping, and investment in the cannabis sector.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Fulfill the mandatory 4-hour Pharmacist certification as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, along with the PA Train dispensary employee certification.
- Verify patient certifications through the Patient Portal during all dispensing activities while on duty.
- Occasionally assist with cash handling processes, including preparing deposits and maintaining daily logs.
Candidate Profile:
General Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to obtain and maintain marijuana work credentials.
Education and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
- Required to complete and maintain all state-mandated Pharmacist training and certifications.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- Must successfully pass an extensive fingerprint background check to obtain medical marijuana work credentials.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong focus on compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in computer operations and point-of-sale systems.
