We are seeking a skilled Sushi Line Cook to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Sushi Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking sushi dishes in a high-volume, open kitchen restaurant. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook sushi dishes to meet high-quality standards
- Ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
- Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve team goals
- Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
- 1+ years of experience working as a sushi/maki line cook
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant ingredients and cuisine
- Associate or bachelor's degree in culinary arts
- Experience handling sashimi-quality fish
- Experience preparing sushi in a high-volume environment
