We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team at the University of New Mexico. As a key member of our Midwifery Division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional women's health care services, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage women's health care, including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Practice within the health care system, performing consultation, collaborative management, or referral as indicated by the health status of the client
- Participate in the education and training of student nurse midwives and other advanced practice providers, medical students, residents, and fellows in the clinical setting
- Contribute to the climate of diversity and inclusivity within the University of New Mexico
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Master's degree (MSN)
- Participation in the Certificate Maintenance Program with the American Midwifery Certification Board (or eligible)
- CNM license with New Mexico Department of Health (or eligible)
- RN license with New Mexico Board of Nursing (or eligible)
- Experience teaching adult learners
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Interest in participating in clinical research
- At least one year clinical experience working in an academic medical center
