Outpatient Counselor

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient Counselor to join our team at OneEighty. As a key member of our outpatient services, you will provide counseling and group services to clients seeking assistance with substance abuse disorder and mental health services.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance abuse disorder and mental health issues.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress and treatment plans.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in counseling and substance abuse treatment.

• Master's degree or PhD in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology required.
• Licensed in Ohio or license eligible.
• Knowledge of substance abuse and addiction treatment preferred.
• Knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and experience working with victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault preferred.
• Experience facilitating groups.
• Ability to work independently and manage crises.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client issues and agency matters.

• Competitive salary range of $45,000-$65,000 per year.
