Role Overview:
The Assistant Culinary Manager will be responsible for supervising meal preparation and cooking processes while assisting in the recruitment and training of new kitchen personnel. To excel in this position, candidates should be capable of effectively managing the following daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Crafting dishes and food items to meet guest specifications promptly
  • Accurately measuring kitchen ingredients and portion sizes
  • Ensuring kitchen personnel comply with established standards, protocols, departmental regulations, and hygiene requirements
  • Utilizing kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, ovens, steamers, and warmers during food preparation
  • Overseeing kitchen inventory and guaranteeing that supplies are fresh and of premium quality
  • Maintaining appropriate cooking temperatures and proper food storage
  • Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and sanitized
  • Managing kitchen opening, closing, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
Work Schedule:
No late hours.
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
  • Holidays
Qualifications:
Culinary Degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sous Chef role.
