Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for travel assignments, specializing in the operating room. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in surgical technology.

Certification Requirements
  • Certifications Required: BLS
  • On-Call Requirements: Yes, one night per week and one weekend every four weeks (total of five call shifts per schedule)

  • Patient Population: Focus on Orthopedic sports, minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, Robotics, General, GYN, URO, and Plastics.
  • Additional Experience: Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, and Vascular experience is advantageous.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced, high-acuity academic setting

  • Charge experience is mandatory
Schedule Information
  • Schedule: OMids
  • On-Call Requirements: Yes, one night per week and one weekend every four weeks (total of five call shifts per schedule)
  • Block Schedule Accommodation: Not available unless specified otherwise
  • RTO Restrictions: Maximum of 1 week
  • Guaranteed Hours: In cases of low census, healthcare providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call in four-hour increments, up to one shift's worth of hours in a two-week cycle.

  • Patient Population: Orthopedic sports with limited total joints, extensive minimally invasive procedures, Robotics, General, GYN, URO, and Plastics
