Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at DaVita. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in an outpatient dialysis center, where you will have the chance to deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide individualized care and support to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis and related treatments.
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- IV certification required if required by state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
