HMIS Database Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HMIS Database Manager to join our team at Community Shelter Board. As a key member of our Data + Evaluation unit, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our Homelessness Response System and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine data quality checks and generate quality assurance reports with interpretation of data.
  • Provide individual technical assistance for HMIS site administrators, addressing and documenting issues within 24 hours of submission during business days.
  • Develop and maintain HMIS Policies and Procedures Manual, Data Dictionary, HMIS Training Guide, and HMIS Training videos.
  • Update and prepare reports as needed to include required data elements.
  • Complete data entry for select seasonal/temporary homeless programs.
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database management.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced customer service and training skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approach.
  • HMIS System Administrator experience preferred.
