We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team at Top Quality Doors, LLC. As a Garage Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial garage doors and openers, gate operators, and access control systems.

• Install and service garage doors and openers, gate operators, and access control systems
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with existing systems
• Provide clients with options and recommendations for repairs or replacements
• Ensure accurate measurements and locations for openings
• Operate company vehicle and travel to job sites
• Participate in team meetings and adhere to company policies and procedures

• At least 2 years of experience as a garage door/gate service and/or installation technician
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and experience with collecting client payments
• Ability to read tape measures and convert measurements
• Ability to assemble and test mechanical components and machine parts
• Basic computer skills, including operation of mobile tablet and cell phone
• Ability to identify errors and solve problems through critical thinking
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Must be able to climb a ladder and work at heights of up to 12' high
• Must be able to operate hand tools, manual and powered
• Must be able to lift, including overhead, and carry up to 80 pounds for up to 50 feet on uneven ground
• Must be able to sit in a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to engage in repetitive motions, especially of arms and wrists
• Must be able to complete activities using fine motor skills of the hands and wrist
• Must be able to effectively communicate in person, over the phone, and by computer
• Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, ice, and high winds
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must have a valid Driver's License and a good driving record
