We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to our production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with production operators to resolve equipment issues and optimize production processes.
- Analyze test results and machine error messages to diagnose equipment problems and implement effective solutions.
- Examine parts for defects and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs and ensure optimal performance.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed, parts and materials used, and requisition new parts and materials as necessary.
- Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and requisitioning new parts and materials as needed.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the glass industry.
- Working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, PLCs, VFDs, and electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Must have working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Able to use tools including hand tools, powered tools, diagnostic tools, and computer programs.
- Test and repair water distribution and compressed air systems.
- Able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Able to operate a forklift truck, pallet jack, crane, and manlift.
- Basic computer and email skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Total compensation pay range: $19.27 - $23.00 depending on experience.
- Quarterly safety bonus opportunities.
- Daily Pay Options: Access up to 50% of wages already earned, daily, prior to the bi-weekly pay day.
- Shift Days and Hours: 1st Shift.
