Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Manage residential remodeling projects from start to finish
    • Coordinate field work with subcontractors
    • Communicate with office staff and clients
  • Carpentry and Site Work:
    • Perform field carpentry, repairs, and construction
    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
    • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to drawings
    • Build and frame structures using raw materials or pre-constructed items
    • Lay out cabinetry and architectural details ensuring they conform to project plans and scope

Requirements:

  • History of jobsite leadership and experience in site management or self-employment in construction
  • Proven time management skills and ability to identify and solve problems
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to contribute to a variety of tasks in various field conditions
  • Comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
