Nurse Extern PRN Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Extern PRN to join our team at Parkridge Medical Center. As a Nurse Extern PRN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of our experienced nursing staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with your skills/training and the needs of the Department.
  • Consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
  • Document patient care information in the appropriate computer screens.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
  • Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program.
  • Can be considered for Nurse Extern after completion of first nursing semester or CNA in first semester of RN program.
