Job Title: CVICU Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled CVICU nurse for a travel nursing position in a reputable healthcare institution.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate CVICU nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Care for patients with chest pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, new onset CHF/CHF exacerbation, AAA, syncope, Vtach, heart failure, ACS, COPD, PAD, and stroke
  • Participate in vascular procedures, including TCAR, EVAR, carotid endarterectomy, AAA repair, thrombectomy, and cardiac catheterization
  • Manage patients with EKOS machine, TR band, Fem stop, and occasional Swanz-Ganz catheters, sheath removals, Aline, central line/PICC, Bipap, and ventilator
  • Work in a hybrid unit with acute, intermediate, and intensive care level of care patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in CVICU
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend and floating shifts
  • Compliance with facility requirements
