SSM Health Physical Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Lift and transfer patients to/from treatment tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment as needed.
- Assist patients with donning and doffing orthotic and prosthetic devices.
- Position patients in parallel bars and prepare them for standing with appropriate equipment.
- Transport patients to/from therapy sessions as required.
- Assist therapists with patient-related treatment activities and provide equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized department, including equipment and patient areas.
- Direct patient care experience is required.
- Current State Driver's License in good standing is required; a Class B license allowing for bus operation is required within three months of employment.
- Minimum one year of work experience as a driver is required.
- High school graduate or equivalent is required.
