ABOUT HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS, INC.

Homes for the Homeless is dedicated to providing shelter and support for families facing homelessness in New York City. Our facilities offer more than just a place to stay; they provide access to a variety of onsite programs aimed at fostering resilience and stability for families during and after their time with us.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee clinical practices for a team of Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) in compliance with New York State regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and professional growth opportunities for LMSWs.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance mental health services for families in need.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must hold an LCSW license in New York State.
  • A minimum of five years in a supervisory capacity, with at least two years of experience working with families, ideally within a homeless context.
  • Proven expertise in trauma-informed care practices.
  • SIFI certification is preferred.
