TEMCO Inc., a Tech24 Company, is a fast-paced commercial food service company dedicated to providing exceptional service and repair solutions for our valued clients. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC/Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team.
Job OverviewAs a Commercial HVAC/Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for handling repairs and providing outstanding customer service. Your role will involve direct interaction with customers, vendors, and manufacturers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient problem resolution. You will also manage paperwork, collect payments when necessary, and perform other general service duties.
Responsibilities and Duties- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers through effective communication and collaboration.
- Operate and maintain a company vehicle responsibly and safely.
- Utilize technology proficiently, including iPads, email, and cellphones for efficient task management and communication.
- Work independently and effectively to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines as instructed.
- Possess a comprehensive set of basic trade tools; TEMCO offers a tool purchase program and provides a required tool list for your reference.
- Be prepared to stand or sit for extended periods, up to four hours, as needed.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime, including evenings and weekends, when required.
- Commit to continuous learning by attending local and out-of-town training schools, potentially on weekends, to enhance your skills and knowledge.

- Possess proven experience as a Commercial Equipment Technician, HVAC Technician, or in a related field.

- Have the capacity to differentiate colors and symbols in fine print and wires.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently under pressure.
- Be willing to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Commit to ongoing professional development by attending training schools locally and/or out of town, potentially on weekends.
- Be physically capable of standing or sitting for extended periods, up to four hours, when necessary.
- Possess the knowledge and skills to read wiring diagrams and utilize a volt-ohm-meter effectively.
