Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our team at the United States Fleet Forces Command. As a key member of our waterfront operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in providing technical guidance and support for the design, overhaul, and repair of submarines.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, and naval architecture. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and plans to ensure the successful completion of waterfront projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in providing technical guidance and support for the design, overhaul, and repair of submarines.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and plans to ensure the successful completion of waterfront projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments and functions to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, and naval architecture principles and practices.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
