Wapiti Medical Staffing is a physician staffing organization dedicated to providing exceptional hospitalist and emergency department services. Our physicians and affiliated healthcare providers work in various hospital settings and inpatient facilities. The current openings are offered through Wapiti Medical Staffing.
Position Overview:
- Applicants must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with relevant Emergency Medicine experience.
- Physician-led organization
- Annual Emergency Department volume of 27,000 visits
- 16-bed Emergency Department
- 24/7 physician coverage with 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage per day
- Utilization of Meditech EMR system
- Options for Full-Time Employment or Independent Contractor status
- On-site administrative assistance available
- Experience is required; new graduates will not be considered.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Locum tenens candidates will not be considered.
- Contract options available as W2 with benefits or 1099 independent contractor with guaranteed shifts.
- Competitive salary offered.
- W2 positions include:
- Health, Dental, and Vision insurance (with HSA)
- $250,000 group life insurance policy
- 401(k) plan with company contributions
- $3,000 for Continuing Medical Education (CME)
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine -OR- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
- Minimum of 12 months/2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine work experience (excluding training)
- Ohio Medical License (either in hand or in process)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status
- List of procedures the candidate is proficient in performing
