Position Overview
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring the project portfolio's financial performance and the achievement of project objectives. This position will collaborate closely with the leadership team of Alaska Digital Technologies, maintaining budget forecasts, facilitating reporting, and aiding in organizational planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and track project budget versus actual expenditures.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to prepare budget variance reports and manage key financial submissions.
  • Work alongside the Digital Technologies leadership to formulate and submit the annual project budget.
  • Act as the Budget Coordinator for all project financial deliverables and reporting.
  • Enhance transparency and visibility regarding project execution impacts on the base budget.
  • Prepare and coordinate communications at the portfolio level.
  • Provide support for quarterly planning and Agile ceremonies as needed.
  • Manage small-scale IT projects effectively.

Required Qualifications
  • Intermediate proficiency in IT Project Management within a large enterprise environment or Agile Development.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or portfolio management roles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Business Analyst.
  • SAFe certified Scrum Master.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Target Process, and Confluence is highly preferred.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
  • Adept at navigating complex organizational structures.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Effective planning skills to achieve project goals.
  • 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
